Intruder Alarms

PAFI is able to advise supply and install intruder alarms to meet any client requirements.

Alarm systems will utilize a variety of peripherals to detect unauthorized entry, most commonly a series of infra red motion detector sensors. Other sensors such as magnetic reed window and door sensors, glass break sensors and vibration sensors, can contribute to a system.

Sensors can be hard wired directly to an alarm controller or where not practical, wirelessly connected.

One or more code pads will enable users to arm and disarm the system as well as control other functions, and alarm warnings can be both aural (sirens or bells) and visual (flashing lights).

Alarm systems can also be integrated to function in conjunction with CCTV systems, and will usually be fitted with a back up power system to ensure continued functionality in the event of a power failure.
